Our History

Shenandoah Farms sits at the corners of Clarke, Fauquier, and Warren Counties, spread along the Shenandoah River and up Blue Mountain, about twenty minutes from Front Royal, Winchester, Berryville, and Middleburg. Across roughly 7,000 acres it holds about 2,600 lots in Warren County and more than 200 in Clarke — the second largest community in Virginia.

Originally developed in 1970 as a weekend community, it has grown into a place of full-time homes as well as vacation retreats. Approximately 1,200 homes have been built, with many lots still left to build on. Through it all, the draw has stayed the same: mountain views, riverfront, two private lakes, and the quiet of the woods.
